I jumped on the Photoshop bandwagon around version 2.0, and thought it would be fun to photograph some of the mighty billboards of Los Angeles and remove the type.  So the process was: black and white negative scanned to digital file which was photoshopped then output as a black and white negative and finally made into a traditional print.  What kept me at it, perhaps, is that these photos were well received, to the point where I actually had a dealer and a show.  Most of the sales were via charity auctions, but I’ll take it.
