Is this racist?  I suppose.  If it makes any difference Doug’s roommate at UCLA was a gay black guy who was scary smart just like Doug.  And they lived next door to Lorna Luft of all people.

Doug was one of the smartest people I ever knew.  He practically sleepwalked his way to getting a Masters in Biostatistics at UCLA, then founded Quantum Health Resources.  I saw him interviewed on CNBC when they went public.  He later told me he made 16,000% on his investment that day.
