I’m using the term “portrait” loosely.  These are portraits, head shots, old timey cheesecake stuff, street photography, etc. I was never any good at shooting people, but opportunities would arise and I’d try.  People tended to be disappointed with the results.  I remember I shot a minor soap opera actress when I was at Art Center and she cried when she saw the shots.  Eeesh.

Unsympathetic Portraits

Part of trying to sell myself as a regular participant at a “Model Shoot” necessitated  photographing the models like all the other pervy guys were.  And sometimes, to be completely honest, there would be a very beautiful model I was attracted to and wanted to photograph.  But I never gave any direction and tried to maintain a role as a documenter, not a creator.
